Why MobileID.ai exists now
The PowerSchool breach in 2024 exposed 62 million students. The Anthology Chapter 11 in 2025 displaced 350 institutions. 100+ universities rolled out Apple Wallet and immediately discovered there was no operational layer above the credential. AI-driven deepfake fraud rose 58% year-over-year. State COPPA 2.0 laws — starting with Arkansas HB 1717 on July 1, 2026 — created entirely new compliance obligations on schools.
Every signal pointed to the same gap: no mid-market vendor was building the orchestration layer between the system of record and the wallet/door/printer/portal that actually uses the credential. CloudCard does one slice. HID is enterprise-only. Illumia is enterprise-only. The status quo for everyone else is three FTEs and a paper sign-in sheet.
MobileID.ai is that orchestration layer. Built on the Vision Data Platform — which already powers the SIS integrations, multi-tenant audit primitives, AI validation patterns, and compliance architecture every customer needs.

We're starting with K-12 and higher education — the warmest pipelines, the deepest SIS integrations, the most acute compliance pressure. Healthcare and manufacturing come next, in 2027. Workforce credentialing follows.
Our target: $2M ARR by end of 2027, $10M ARR by end of 2028. 500+ institutions served. The mid-market default for institutional identity issuance.
We bootstrapped this from Vision Companies cash flow. We're not in a hurry to raise capital — but we're also not closed to the right partner. The work happens either way.
